The average Utah Homeowner has  gained nearly $20,526 in home equity over the past year. With home price appreciation up to almost 10% and a whopping  44.82% over the last five years.

While new construction might be starting…

Need a little sanctity from those work week woes? Or a quick and easy family outing to guarantee you and your children will actually survive the next week of Spring Break?

Also known as Great Spirit Mountain, Shinob Kibe is located in the heart of Washington, Utah. This historical place of refuge offers 360° views to the colorful beauty that is Southern Utah. This hike takes about 45 minutes and is less than a mile and a half round trip, it does take you up in elevation quickly, which is why this trail is rated moderate from the Hike St. George Website. This hike contains aviation history as it holds one of three large cement navigation arrows that can be found in the St. George area that would assist air travel from…

In their recent blog post, Keller Williams Utah explains more about the current housing market and what we can expect as we "Spring Forward" into the upcoming months.

Just like our clocks this weekend, in the majority of the country, the housing market will soon “spring forward!” Similar to tension in a spring, the lack of inventory available for sale has been holding back the market.

Many potential sellers believe that waiting until Spring is in their best interest. Traditionally, they would have been right.

Buyer demand has seasonality to it. Usually, this falls off in the winter months, especially in areas of the country impacted by arctic conditions.

That hasn’t happened this year.

Demand for housing has remained strong as…

February might be the shortest month of the year, but can you believe that it has almost come and gone? We've celebrated Groundhog's Day (thankfully, we woke up to a new day on the third), National Tater Tot Day, Chinese New Year, Single's Awareness Day, President's Day... We laughed at our favorite Super Bowl Commercials {I'm grateful to be at a place in my life where I love sugar enough to not care if its Pepsi or Coke}. We procrastinated all of our kids' Valentine Boxes until the night before. We are still finding sugar cookie crumbs, and we survived the, "100 Year Snow Storm"... Why do they still call it that when it happens every other year?

All leading up to one of Southern Utah's most incredible events presented by Zions Bank and the…

I always like someone who can speak their mind tactfully in an effort to make this world a little better place. When it comes to finances, Dave Ramsey will do just that. Dave is an outspoken financial guru, he doesn't sugar coat the facts, and if one of your 2019 goals is to add a tiny bit more thought and planning into the way you look at your spending and saving... well, Dave Ramsey is a sure fire way to get your little tush in gear.

If you are like me, January is a time where I feel a tiny push to be MORE in every aspect of my life... more organized, more routine, more healthy, more spiritual, more present, more determined, etc.. and after a spendy December month I usually have at least one financial goal that finds its way to my resolutions…

I was inside my favorite smoothie shop the other day. We frequent it a lot and there is a familiar letter board inside that always makes me wonder if people actually envision a life creating healthy, "pun"-ny quotes, or if it's just a calling you stumble upon accidently. I will admit, they are always clever, but yet still leave you  wondering what the kale they even mean. Like you know they are just wrong, but they feel so ripe. Okay, okay, lettuce stop before this gets guacward.. (ughhh...you know... those).

Ironically, this week's quote didn't leave me with a leafy-earthy taste in my mouth, It read, "NEW YEAR, SAME YOU, because you are ALREADY pretty amazing!". I didn't have much time to let it sink in, as I poked the straw through my…
