I mean, after all, is there anything that screams summer more than the Washington County Fair? The first fair was organized back in 1860, and held in Washington City at the sight of John D. Lee's mansion. "Washington was the county seat and St. George had not yet been settled. The number of people in the entire Virgin River Basin, probably numbered fewer than one hundred families."

What a beautiful place Southern Utah is for such an amazing event with breathtaking American Southwest scenery and fresh, crisp spring air. The St. George, Utah IRONMAN 70.3 was named 2017’s BEST RACE VENUE EXPERIENCE and BEST HOST CITY EXPERIENCE and just this week was announced as home to host the 2021 IRON MAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. With all this moisture Utah has seen this Winter, its hard to not look outside on this beautiful cloudy and drizzly day and not count our many blessings. The mountain sides are green, the grassy fields are lush and damp, the wildflowers are dancing along I-15 from state-line to state-line, and those pesky weeds seem to be growing faster than we can pull them.
